I finally did it. I can’t believe it. I’m a little giddy. Very nervous. But overall excited. You ready for this? Ok, here it goes. Cue music intro. The announcement is: I finally made an online shop. Say what?! Yes! I did. First, I would love to show you around my shop on RedBubble. Second, the theme for my RedBubble shop is fun and light and reminds me of summer. I can’t wait to share it with you. And finally, I want to give the best advice I received if you are interested in beginning your own RedBubble shop.

RedBubble Shop – Coffee & Matcha Theme
The RedBubble coffee and matcha theme was born out of love for both. I love coffee and matcha. But very rarely do you see the two together. Did you know that when you put two shots of espresso in a matcha latte, it’s called a Dirty Matcha? That’s a free fact for your brain. You’re welcome. These fun, lighthearted designs stemmed from a need to keep my mind optimistic and joyful during my fight against chronic illness. Painting with watercolors helped. And to my surprise, I discovered that graphic design helped me, too.
When you are plagued with a chronic illness, it’s healthy to fill your days with something good. It helps you cope. That’s part of the reason I decided to make my RedBubble Shop about coffee and matcha. I’m actually on a healthier version of coffee right now. Don’t judge. Chronic illness has its sacrifices, and straight up coffee is one of them. But my own version of coffee makes me happy. I will have to share the recipe soon. My favorite drink right now is matcha. It soothes me every morning. (Sigh). People who love matcha will understand this. So yeah, that’s why I wanted to make designs about coffee and matcha-to cheer me up. Maybe along the way, it will cheer others up, too.
RedBubble Shop- The Best Advice I Learned
I actually have two things I recommend. The first is watching all of Sarah’s videos on YouTube. She has an immense amount of information all for free! I’m pretty sure I’ve watched most of her videos. I don’t know her personally, but she is the best teacher!! Go and watch her videos, and I know it will help you as you navigate starting your own RedBubble Shop.
My second piece of advice, which I actually learned from Sarah’s videos, is that you can design and set up your first store without ever spending any money. Seriously!! I have not spent one dollar on setting up or creating the designs for the store I started. It sounds like it’s too good to be true. But it’s not! How can you beat that? For real, right!?
