Chronic Illness: Follow Up Doctor’s Appointment & Blood Test Results

Chronic illness can be unpredictable. You eat the wrong food, or the right food at the wrong time and it’s bed for three days. Well, I ate the wrong food. On top of eating the wrong food, I had a viral infection which I think was covid. I had the classic back, and hip pain accompanied with the upper respiratory issues which I had previously. I went two nights with no sleep. The detox symptoms were so bad I had to cut out all Lauracidin. It’s like my liver couldn’t handle the load-but I have no idea what the load is exactly. Covid? Maybe. A weird reaction to food? Possibly. It’s hard to tell because of all the variables.

Goodbye Lauracidin

The good part of the story is that I’m not taking Lauracidin anymore-I stopped February 12th-eleven days ago. It’s been part of my main protocol for 2 years. The last time I stopped, my body rebelled. I was peeing every 2 hours. My skin hurt. I felt nauseated, but it wasn’t the flu. It felt like my body was literally shutting down. I remember wondering if it is what dying felt like? Taking the Lauracidin helped.

I realize that just because my body did something once, doesn’t mean it will have the same reaction again. So right now, it’s a wait and see what happens kinda life-which is normal for me. And that’s Ok. God’s already there-in the future. But a crazy God thing is that I ended up stopping my Lauracidin on the exact same day as my follow up to my last doctor’s appointment . Cue angels singing. I didn’t plan it that way.

Chronic Illness: Follow Up Doctor’s Appointment & Blood Test Results

I have to keep in mind that the blood test results are based off of when I was taking Lauracidin. And I’ve experienced Lauracidin change my blood test results in the past. So some of the results here may change over time as my body adjusts to not having the Lauracidin.

Spike Protein ABS for Covid– I tested positive for the spike protein for Covid. The doctor taught me a lot I didn’t know about covid. When you have covid, a spike protein is in your body replicating and making you sick. But when the sickness has passed, the spike protein is supposed to leave your body. Well, in some people(like me), it never leaves. It stays. And it keeps replicating. She prescribed the Ultimate Spike Detox by The Wellness Company to kill the spike protein. There was a lot more she shared with me that was super interesting!

EBV Titers- There was no EBV infection present. But there was evidence that I had had it in the past.

Cellular Nutrition Assay & Redox – The Assay came back and the doctor was actually surprised because my nutrition was pretty good. Doctor said to increase protein to 80-100 grams per day. I haven’t gotten the redox results yet.

My iron levels were low so she put me on an iron supplement. She prescribed 10,000 IU’s of Vitamin D per day, and Selenium and Iodine for my thyroid.

Conclusion

The viral infection is finally lifting a bit. My lower back pain is gone and I actually put makeup on my face. Lol. It’s been awhile. The doctor recommended taking each supplement for three days before adding another one. It’s been working really well. I have felt my body adjusting to not having the Lauracidin; and I hope that these new supplements help my body adjust without as much pain. The next blood draw is scheduled for three months from now. I’m hopeful that this is all going to help.
